Update July 2004:  I sold the "Stars Car" due to financial reasons.  :-(  I'm keeping this page up as a tribute, though, to my favorite car that I've ever owned.

I purchased this black (one of the Stars' colors) Camaro brand new in 1999 and quickly turned it into a classy "Stars Car".  Someday, I hope to get a large Dallas Stars graphic added to the hood, but I can't afford it right now (it's around $300).  I asked the Dallas Stars organization if they'd foot the bill as it'd be free publicity for them, but (after ignoring my calls, emails and faxes for a couple of months) they said "No."  This was in 2001, and if you are a fan, you may remember that the Stars organization as a whole did not treat fans very well that year.

Here is the letter I wrote to the Stars organization, the prices I wrote down, and the crude drawings I made of what the car could look like with the work that I proposed (click on thumbnail to enlarge):
